Michelle and all,
The Spring get together 2009 was a great chance to meet and discuss your experiences and a great chance to meet people face to face in a relaxed enviroment certainly beneficial. !.
It is s shame that circumstances meant it was not attended by as many as usual , but the function was still a credit to this growing community, and best wishes to those unable to get there.
Thanks for your hard work. A J and W

Dear ladies,
Krisz and I have just arrived home and wanted to say that we really enjoyed meeting you all (please pass this onto your husbands too). You are all too kind and have really made us feel welcome. Thanks for all the advice you have given us, much appreciated.
The kids were like little angels and Krisz has very much enjoyed himself with their toys :0)
Sorry we couldn't stay longer, but working in IT means lots of ruined evenings and weekends.
We can't wait to see you again in November. Have a great weekend all!

Hi Just wanted to say that after attending the social on Saturday it was alot less painless than we expected As we were unsure whst to expect with this being our first sociasl we were very apprehensive, however as soon as we walked through the doors we felt immediately at ease. Michelle and Martin do an excellent job of making you feel weclome (and providing plenty of food and coffee!!! lol) We found chatting to them and the others who attended very useful indeed and gained a lot of answers to our questions, Michelle certainly knows her stuff and is willing to share it It was also nice to realise that surrogacy is actually a reality and does happen and it is not just something I spent time researching and chatting to my lap top about! Speaking to another IP actually on a surrogacy journey was very helpful to us. The best way I can describe the experience was like "being at a friends for a chat and a coffee", talking to people who actually understand what you feel because they are there or have been there, makiing me realise I am NOT alone. The people I met are genuine, down to earth people and I look forward to being patof ther community and hope that I can contribute to it and help to promote surrogacy and alw grow. Thanks again guys! (ps cake was lovely!!!)
