Well the other day I had a phone call, as I do.

It was a doctor doctor 02 who said what a wonderful site we have – makes a change to have a good start.

He had found it whilst looking for something else

Whilst there he saw details about Martin Quinn and apologised for his threats to us. He had said that what happened may not have been his fault – I said I appreciate that, he has had chance to put his version of events, and ….. (I didn’t manage to get in that one of the points we made to Martin Quinn is that if informed consent was or was not obtained during pregnancy he would not be in that position, but we did say that to Marin Quinn)

(It was a fast moving conversation and was quite frustrating at times head brick wall )

He did not however like the premise that it was the surgeons fault, blaming post preg hyster on midwives and junior docs for not bringing in the consultant sooner.

I said there were many problems that we saw (and tried to get in our list on the website) but he continued to defend the surgeons.

Eventually I managed to get in what about elective extractions (he never sulked about calling them extractions!!). This took him aback. So I repeated elective first babies.
On a virgin uterus?
Yes
No complications etc
No

Very shocked! He had not heard of this, I explained that a lot of our victims are first baby elective. I said consent needs to be obtained during pregnancy and for those who choose death, it is accepted for those who accept uterus, ok but consent then for cervix, ovaries, vaginal pleating. Whats vaginal pleating? Explained, and said that he had never heard of such a thing, I said how at least one of those with alw has had it done.

We talked about notes, but that people cant sue due to how they are written, people are not allowed to know who did the procedure or why.
He was shocked. Its on the notes.
Not always.
Then ask,
people do but the information is refused.
Take legal advice,
people try but a) cant afford it b) due to the way the notes are written they cant do anything ….

He was very very shocked that some people can not find out who did the ops, even from the notes etc etc

I suggested that he read the case studies on the site.

He said this needs to come out. I said we have been trying for nearly a decade.
He said go to the newspapers, I said we have had about 5 lined up over the years, case studies, photographs, but never published
TV, I listed the tv that had cancelled at the last minute due to the docs telling the solicitors not to cover it

He asked about NCT and others, I said we contact them about once a year but they wont give us links etc – as he and we had said previously about accused of scare mongering!

I said we have needed help, a patron to give us credibility. He said hes not here to help he wants us to do it. I laughed and said that not to worry we gave up on help years ago.

Us do it!!! I really think that he missed we have been trying for a decade but brick walls, RCOG, DoH etc etc It felt that just because he had only just found us that he thought we had only been around for 5 minutes not 10 years and 8 on the web!!

We talked about getting the stats, refused, quote the freedom of information, we have, gave him the excuses we had had, he said they cant claim those things, I said we have the letters to prove it!

I said how we contacted all the hospitals to give out information etc …. Not being done …. Training for docs etc etc

I must confess I finally cracked when he said about people apologising afterwards laughing ++.
I just laughed, YOU MUST BE JOKING!! apologise, no we are expected to say THANK YOU and if we don’t some are threatened with sectioning!

Some are stopped from adoption / surrogacy

TOTAL SHOCK. He talked as I explained that we are told we are told to be grateful to be alive, to stop crying as it is only a lump of flesh!

He said he must go, he had to operate … doctor 02

I have some notes to follow up on some suggestions, and some of his other points scary!!!

He declined to give his name, I did try to say that we are good with confidentiality however I don’t think he trusted me sign lol

So thank you to this doctor, very interesting, we don’t agree on everything but I think a day, talking with plenty of time etc would be useful to both parties, ah well we can wish Smile make a wish

Wow!
I don't know what to say. I guess there are few doctors out there who'll put themselves up against the establishment...too much to lose unhappy
But at least some are interested

(ps - out internet is still knackered, hence why not around lately, not much chance at work)

Yes a few interested but they just wont say anything bad about the bad apples unhappy

After I was examined and the doc confirmed what had been done to my illegally, he would say it to DH and I, but he would not write it in the summary of the meeting we had unhappy

We have had 2 docs offer to help but only if they censor us unhappy
Much as the help would be very much appreciated, we were not prepared to go down that route, we have overcome too much and had so many threats over the years, us, the only ones standing up and shouting about this, backing down will not help anyone at all unhappy
The truth is here ... but can you handle it?

Yes, as we say MANY times, if the good apples spoke out about the bad apples (and I have not mentioned other facts given ...) maybe many of us would have our organs, children and quality of lives now unhappy
